Usually I can only refund after two hours. But the game waited until the forest to start laying on the wokism thick. Insanely based of steam to extend its refund for this one. Monster Hunter has fallen.

I don't tend to agree ideologically with people that complain about this stuff (to be forthright), but usually I'm able to at least see what people mean when they do. But with this game, I can't. I've gotten through the forest area and don't see what you mean, as everything in the game so far has just been focused on the story, the monsters and environments.

He is angry because this MH has storytelling and cinematics, thats all. A lot of people complain about that. And because it has loads of women taking the spot.

Are you in Oz?... Because you can refund more or less at any time there, as long as you have a legitimate reasons -- performance, patch kills game / tanks performance, inaccurate recommended specification or functionality listing... In fact, this is the case because of an instance of the latter issue that was escalated to legal action by two customers, and they won. There were sign-in pop-up notifications regarding the changes in Steam refund policies [for Australian customers], for months following that legal settlement.

So, it really depends on reason and region... Albeit, if you're in the U. S., you've likely got no rights whatsoever; just those meme ones contained in that disregarded yet oft-cited (ironically?) "Constitution".

Handler? Woman.

Commander? Woman.

Smithy? Woman.

And those are the 3 people you spend the most time with in the story and in cutscenes. It's not that deep. OP simply hates women.

This game ain't woke at all. Equipment is not gendered, either. Masc gear looks fine on women, and femme gear looks fine on men. OP is simply virtue signaling to get digital hi5s from the other incels. Let him cook I guess lol. The rest of us normies can simply enjoy the game, if we can get it to run well enough

I just DLSS Swapped and it fixed my game, characters I ignore and play for the hunts. Still think perf is mid af we'll have to wait a few months like world lol

It's a movie game about saving sad brown people, populated near entirely by strong/ugly women and tribesman. With the only white men being ancient shriveled background characters who do nothing.

Monster hunter used be near exclusively cutesy anime hot white/asian people and ancient comic relief yoda esque wyverians.

The casting and character design is laid on pretty thick unless you are utterly insensitive to design choices at all or haven't actually played the series.

Historically, the monster hunter series does not concern itself with maintaining any kind of canon from one game to the next. Every game is its own thing. There is no lore bible.

And Erik has a high pitched voice, possibly even voiced by a lady IRL, but who said he was trans in-game? News to me, but cool if true. Goku in Dragon Ball Z is also voiced by a woman, who cares?

idk i've played since the demo of the original on PS2 and just the idea of people saying it's laid on pretty thick feels...wrong? like people exist, across the series there's a wide variety. that's it.
