I'm running a potato 1360x768 and I can't select anything other than 1280x722.
Pretty much every possible resolution configuration exists in the config.ini file.
Manually changing the "NormalWindowResolution" doesn't make a difference, nor does manually changing any of the "DisplayModes" in that config file.
It feels like it's hardcoded into the exe and it doesn't really care about the config.ini file...
might be time to finally upgrade monitors after all these years, I guess? I use an old TV, so my resolution is the same as your's - 1360x768. xD
Another option is not use fsr, increase rendering scale ingame and use lossless scaling for the frame gen.
Eh, I'm chillin. My lower resolution allows my graphics card to punch way further above its weight than it should. It gave both my 1060 6GB and my 1080ti way more life than they should have had. Granted, I recently upgraded to a 3090, so it's not much of an issue now, but yeah.
I'm not going to go buy a new TV just for Monster Hunter. haha.

The primary issue is the bracketing/restriction of resolutions.
I have three monitors (two of which at potato resolutions, one of which is 1080p). When switching the game over to my 1080p monitor, it only gives me "1280x720", "1600x1200", and "1920x1080".
I've cataloged my attempts over in this reddit post, some of which were even manually altering the variables in memory (which also failed).

I've used it in the past for obstinate games.
The "fullscreen" option in Wilds adjusts it to 1280x722, which is blurry as heck.
Borderless Gaming just "stretches" windowed mode, leaving the correct resolution intact.
It's not a "fix" yet, but it'll get me through the weekend. haha.
I uh...bought a whole a** 4k tv and surround sound system for a game a year or so ago lol
Albeit a series I have followed for my entire life pretty much, and they are known for having visually stunning graphics.
Was it worth it?
For me, yes, was not disappointed in the slightest
yeeaahhh... I did what I said I was gonna do and bought a whole ass monitor. LOL
This was the only thing that solved my case, it's extremely useful and easy to use. Really worth it, thanks.
