I just fought Rey Dau and he's in no way something you can simply walking through without any previous MH experience. I'm sure his thunderclap move is annihilating a lot of new players. I even thought Dosharuga (or whatever) was a good fight and a monster new players would have a good fight against.
They did seem to give the monsters about 25-30% less health, though.

'k 👌
In Wilds, so far at least, that feeling is not present for me. Half the time I am forgetting that I even should be crafting upgrades at all. And I am not a great player either. I dare say I kinda suck compared to most of you and yet this is still my experience. I have not carted once yet or even felt like I have come close.
Hoping it changes as I play more.
I mean thats the same I had with rise and world for most of the time in the base game up until maybe late endgame, all 3 games story and LR and most of HR are just easy, but wilds isn't easier its on pair easy
