4070 performance
Just wondering what everyone else is running with a 4070, even rendering at 1080p it barely goes above 60 fps on high.. am I the only one?

Stable 60. With an 4070 he should expect much more honestly, but unfortunately the game can't deliver.

How many fps without FG? Hearing an 4060ti can run fine is wild.

My brothers potato 2070 with ryzen 5 2600, yeah it's on low settings but he keeps up with us, can solo hunt and having no issues playing the game through. It doesn't look fantastic but he understands what he has😂 but it's. Ot causing him any issues in coop hunts, and he is often our highest dps actually. But he is using bow lol However he has done all the weapons at least once in hunts with no issues still as far as keeping up or carting or anything.

Fine is kinda subjective, but he just wants to play so fair.

My rig is a 4070 r5700x3d 32ddr4, ist doesnt go over 60fps in 1440p it stays fully maxed out at 45-50fps. on 1080p it barely stays on 60fps its more like a 57-59. but there are issues with the highest texture packs and some other settings, i have played witht he config file a bit and balanced the settings ingame, now i play with a constant 140fps on 1440p, i capped the fps at 70fps, it never dips below 70 and stays on that, thats why i use framegen, its not optimal but it runs way better when the fps is stable than using frame gen on unstable 80-90fps.

I mean my 3080 gets 75fps stable on high settings? But some consider that unacceptable, others think dlss is unacceptable, I think frame generation is a farce lol will never use it 😂

Like we can make suggestions but knowing what they think is the line is helpful cuz like I could say run it 1080p on lowest you'll get those frames xD but that obviously is kinda dumb for a 4070

im on a 4070 super. its preatty close . 60-70 fps but i cap at 60 . no frame gen cause it has visible ghosting . DLSS set to DLAA. 1080p . it plays good. but it could definitly play better . game says it should be using 5 to 6 gb of vram but im constantly at 10 to 11 on my 12gb during the game. if i run a twitch stream on the 2nd monitor i start getting issues in game (the flashing polygons mostly) . im enjoying my time tho . good game. it def can be optimised more tho

Whats your cpu? Cuz my friend has a 4070 super getting 85fps on ultra I don't know all his specs exactly but I know he has a pretty beefy CPU.

I do hope they make a solid pass over anything that can use tweaking in preformance and optimization. There is likely plenty to make small adjustments to that they will get from feedback as we play.

Game runs really fluid on a 4070 in 1920x1080 even with the high resolution pack.
However there are a lot of options who drain a lot gpu/cpu on highest custom settings.
So you probably wanna set some of those back 1 level.
I would suggest to play without framegen, proviedes nothing really as your card can produce enough real frames.
i5 14400 4070 super here, fps is 60~80 without FG, 110+ with fg. playing on 1080p on high preset. im mostly playing without fg and its running well for me no crashes etc
