4070 performance
Just wondering what everyone else is running with a 4070, even rendering at 1080p it barely goes above 60 fps on high.. am I the only one?

What if you enable Frame Generation?

Brings it up but it's more the fact I shouldn't require it for a game like this, hopefully they do something about performance
4070 ti 75-80 high settings no frame generation. 120+ with Frame generation. Only thing I have had in the game is texture pop-in but nothing major.

i have a laptop 4070 high settings and medium RT and frame generation on and get 80-100 fps when im playing. have a texture issue where some wont load in fast enough same as the guy above me. but runs good enough. also running it at 1440p
mine sits at like 50-70 % at high settings. My limiting factor is mostly my CPU. Game still runs quite smooth though, even with drops to 45-50 in areas with a lot of monsters.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kUsLUP4tsSw i truly feel like all these 4070 people are lying out there teeth cuz they starved for monster hunter game like pokemon fans video proof game runs poorly with a 5080 card

Not everybody has standards so high, that they set themselves up to be disappointed before they've even bought the game in the first place. I've played most of my life on low end machines and can handle lower fps quite fine, after all i'm not an esports player anyway, so no need to get 140 fps on ultra settings.

I just want it to look good enough and not lag and that's what i get from this game.

It's the simple fact that it runs bad, we shouldn't support that as it just leads to it happening over and over, defending it is actually insane.

Yeah even at 1080p it struggles, it's just not acceptable
Can say only for 4070 laptop - 86 fps avg

Ive got a 4090, at 1080p, all settings max.
DLSS set to DLAA
No framegen
Motion blur off

get 75-90fps most areas of the game and just about 60 in other areas.

Card doesnt get hot, still sits in a higher frequency.
With the high res textures DLC it still doesn't want to use the VRAM much.
Theres something going on with how its decompressing textures or something.

the benchmark tool gave me a way higher average FPS then what I really get.

Im running 1080p with 4060ti and have had no issues so far. I DID enable frame regen tho

4070 here, i waited a friend buy the game because he has the exactly same setup as me and it is exactly what you said. You need DLSS+FG otherwise it's trash.
I think maybe the game runs ok on frame gen on 4070 tho, can't really say much on that because i ended getting the game on ps5 because ♥♥♥♥ that.

Refund this ♥♥♥♥ OP, if you can't gl trying to play this trash.

How many fps without FG? Hearing an 4060ti can run fine is wild.
Getting over 60fps? How much do you need specifically?
