Reallys only dips down when i load a map or go into an "open" area.
Main problem for me and alot of other people i guess is the god awful codind.
Crashing and stutters, etc. Buy at your own risk.
Idk what else you're running but from the looks of it your cpu / gpu should handle it quite well in the 50+ fps range.
If all else fails, get a refund. No harm done :)
That is just wrong. While i agree that objectively, Worlds is for now the better game to play, wilds is perfectly playable with the hardware he has. Even if he doesn't like it, he can still refund. Praise Gaben
Who deleted that post above me?
The guy who posted it.
I am still on the fence of buying it or waiting to see if they have any sort of update that helps it out a little.
Could have been deleted by a mod aswell but yeah most likely you're right.
My honest opinion. Unless you're an avid MH fan and you can't wait to play it, wait for a discount.
You should be able to run it somewhat fine. (40-60 fps)
Honestly shoot me. Anything under 120 is a crime but w/e.
You'll barely get past 60 fps and for the most part you'll stay at 50 ish at 1440p unless you wanna play a game looks like it's painted in watercolours
I have very similar hardware and standards as you. With that said, I have two things to say that might influence your decision.
First, I am not getting 60 or higher constantly but it is very close. However, what is most surprising to me is that despite this fact, I am also not noticing it like I would normally in other games. I only know it dips below 60 because I am monitoring the numbers. I am also getting zero stuttering.
Second, expect to fiddle with graphics settings more than you may usually do. What I did was set everything to "High" and then tweaked from there. The tweaking that made real positive differences for me was using AMD FSR instead of DLSS, turning frame generation on, and selecting "Quality" for upscaling. I also turned cloud quality to medium, volumetric fog to low, and distant shadows to medium. All of which produced what I consider a great looking experience.
Lastly, I will also say that I have not played way too much yet. I only just beat the first boss in the forest area as part of the main questline. I also don't see any harm in giving the devs a week or so to see what they put out in terms of patches, but I don't think you need to wait for any type of major fix. I'm sure others may disagree, but this has been my experience.
I didn't even check the settings. I just let the game do it's thing. i only start tweaking stuff if i have to and there's no need for this game since it doesn't really do a whole lot. Those specs are gonna be fine. However something is god awfully wrong with the game.
Yes
I AM NOT BUYING IT HAHA, NOPE! You can't make me!!
Uhhh no not really. It's cool man. Don't buy it unless you want to.
