well the explosive stab is fun though
I was a insect glaive main on MHWorld and decided to go for switchaxe in MHWilds. I tried gunlance at first but it didnt click anyhow with me, however switchaxe... it feels great, though not without its cons certainly, still I doubt I will be going for another weapon in wilds

What inspired me to use it was... watching videos of speedrunners in MHWorld, and my brain was like "oh so it provides good damage? maybe i could try that"

Why you watch speedrunners though.why not take your time and enjoy the story before campaign.
for ma fellow SA, if you didnt know to trigger ZSD you need to hold both left+right key to latch onto the target, i think you need to mash to keep it up or stop mashing to quick release.
Dual blade for life!

Keep in mind that ZSD is less damage than FRS though.

Damage goes:
FRS
ZSD
Unbridled
Elemental Discharge

Funny enough the commitment required matches that order. The higher damage moves require more commitment.
