Doshaguma
Was the first monster that gave me a bit of good trouble. His hits took a good chunk of health. Especially the one where he picks up the ground like Rajang does. That attack took half of my health every time it hit. He was also pretty active, too. So I couldn't just mindlessly swing on him.

My weapon of choice for this game/my first run is the Insect Glaive. All of the monsters until this one have pretty much let me hit them with my special attack (forgot what it's called. The one where you rise into the air while spinning all those colors). This dude and that snake thing before him forced me to actually think of when to let it fly. I have hope now for the game's difficulty. At least for me. I'm looking forward to what's next.

I beat him before I was even supposed to with starting gear. I fought him and the whateverTrice monster at the same time in the second optional quest. I had 16 value armor before I even left the desert. Doshaguma is a joke like everything in this game. And I did it SOLO with no cooking buffs at all.

I fought Doshaguma in the best the most annoying thing about that bear is that it has soulsborne level attack delay where it winds up for an attack but then holds off for a eternity or swap it up on you and attacks immediately.

Yeah the delays are always a bit rough, lol.

The atmosphere they provided for that fight was pretty sweet, too. The fight was fun for me. I'd been walking through everything up until that point. I didn't die, but I healed a few good times and had to actually pay attention.

One thing that kept tripping me up is I didn't realize that my charge would go away after rolling. I thought I was just mis-timing it until I went into the training room.

What else can I say except congratulations. You beat him without getting hit by that one move. My armor value was 30 and I ate, and that move took half of my health. I don't have a guard or a counter with my weapon, you probably don't either, and I'm not too familiar with my weapon, but. He nailed me a few good times with that attack along with some other good ones. It is only a 1 star mission if zi remember right. Still gave me a bit of trouble, though in my first time against him. He was pretty aggressive.

Also didn't know you could fight it early. I only tried fighting something early once and Alma told me I wasn't authorized to fight it and it went underground and disappeared.

Even if useless Alma tells you not to fight something who cares fight it anyways. That's what I did. Found a Balahara and killed it even when I wasn't authorized. No extra rewards, but you can still kill it if you want. ♥♥♥♥ the system! Like a :VSnake:.

Also liondog didn't even provide a challenge. The first one that gave me a hard fight was the lighting dragon. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that was a hard fight. Almost died three times to the lighting blasts.
was that the pinkish "ape"? saw a few people playing this... that ♥♥♥♥ was hilarious the way it was woken up... Also that's Bowser.
The ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ape is a Congala or something. I can't remember any of these new names. And not it's not. Balahara is the black sand wyrm in the plains area.

Lol, that dude and scene was pretty funny. But no, that's not the monster I'm talking about. I don't know if you played the beta, but. It's that one with the brown shaggy fur and was also in the early trailers. Except this was the 'momma' version. The one's in the beta were just puppies compared to this one.

Ahh, I see. It must have just been the timing of it all then. Because he left the map when I hit him a few times. But his time on the map was probably just up. Was kind of taken back when I thought we couldn't fight whatever we wanted. Good to know. Thanks.
Yeah that'll happen. Did you see a notice "So and so is leaving the location soon"?

Yeah I saw a message out of the corner of my eye. I didn't read it all but that's most likely what it was telling me.
