Quest bug "Omens" Chapter 5-1

I'm HR 40 and the quest is telling me to "Investigate the regions and raise my HR." I can't raise my HR past 40 and the quest isn't updating. Has anyone encountered this yet?

me too, i cant seem to figure out how to progress further

Edit: just realized you were stucked at the quest "Omen" , i cleared that quest but i am stucked at the next one which is called "The Root Cause"

I have this too :( I feel softlocked at endgame.

I fixed it. I did a quest in a friend's lobby and upon completion and returning to my world it progressed the quest. GL ALL

i have the same bug as well, im on the quest premonitions and its telling me to raise my hr and investigate the regions but im hr 40 and still havent trigged the quest to continue the story and have no idea what to do to continue

Try joining another lobby's quest or SOS and hopefully it'll fix when you return after that quest completion as mine did. Mine did it again later for the next set "The Root Cause."

tried this and didnt work so im not sure what to do, do i carry on doing the same quests over again hoping it fixes itself, do i wait till they fix the bug or do i start a new character and hope i dont get the bug again when i reach the start of chapter 5

i fixed it. I restarted Game, opened a private lobby, did a quest that would progress quest lines.( a quest given from an NPC or in Mission log). do this till its fixed.

im locked out and cannot talk to maki to progress the main quest

In case people are still stuck: My bf got to HR40 before talking to Olivia which caused him to be stuck on "Investigate the regions and raise your HR" .
My theory is that you need to raise your HR by one more so the quest can register it (even if you can't see it your HR still goes up over 40).
So the solution is really just to do quests until you get another level!

I confirm, I was stuck on this too, killed a few monster and it unstucked itself

So i dont know if this is the trick, since ive gone back and forth with hr rank. (yes i've modded it so i could but got softlocked without "cheating" in xp) but going beyong hr rank 40 seems to have done the trick for me. (going beyond as in getting to hr 40 then accumulating a bit more xp) so hopefully that works for some other people.

i Should note, i've tried exploring the area, lower my hr to get myself below 32 and just gaining xp again, tried joining SOS's to redo the mission, and tried restarting the instance and the game, none of that worked for me. so i guess if it has for others i guess its just luck of the draw.
