yeah.. this is legit the ugliest game i've played in the last 15 years

I don't feel like playing it anymore. what an utter dissappointment
i'm assuming you have it on console? wanna play with me on ps5 cause it still looks good with performance mode

yeah they went a little overboard on the brown and grey filters + some textures look very low quality
yeah especially on the first map its noticeable
imagine getting jesters for telling the truth. This game looks so bad.

because it is ugly
how far in are you the game has a weather system and gets insanely pretty during certain times
Blurry? WHat's blurry? Maybe if you're playing in a low Resolution, but it sure ain't blurry. Is is saturated with loads of color? Nope. Does it look bad? No. The performance is just not where it should be. 1440 on High/Med average in the 50s. Its fine. Just not as GREAT as it should be!!! More than playable. People demanding 120+FPS on ULTRA settings in 4K on a mid range PC are out of the damn minds.
Game is ugly but I've found if you turn off HDR is gets rid of the horrible graininess, looks a little less 480p lol btw I'm playing at 4k balance mode and still looks like Nintendo switch
No, it is not. You just mad at the bad performance. Which is valid, but still, the game is not ugly.

i have played monster hunter rise on the switch and that games looks way better than monster hunter wilds

Yes, because they chose to go with a different style for Rise. Then went back to this style like the last World

You wish it looked like World LOL, Monster Hunter Brown is what they should call it, the textures man, they looks like they are straight from the ps3 era but even worse is the artistic direction, puke inducing.

I had family members who play games try the benchmark and they both commented on the optimization and how fugly the game looks especially in comparison to its requirements.

A truly ugly game.

The game looks good to me, maybe you have a bad monitor I play on a OLED HDR monitor and it looks awesome.
u like dry looking graphics?
I thought it started looking quite a bit better once you get out of the starting desert area. Although still not good enough to justify the performance.
Once i installed the texture pack for the pc version it looks pretty good to me. Before that it was pretty hideous though.
Aye, if it at least look justifiably good. Then I wouldn't be so mad about how it runs in comparison because at least my eyes wouldn't be hurting how blurry and low res things look... at 4k on an OLED screen.

It looks ugly, because if you use ultra preset, the game uses quality scaling aka 67% resolution. If you use lowest preset it will set to ultra performance scaling.
So you have to manually change the scaling back to native.
Framegen doesn't make it look ugly, it's just a frame duplicator, it can cause artifacts, it doesn't cause low pixelation.

Scaling never looked good in ReEngine games, since Monster Hunter World, same in Dragon's Dogma 2, and same in here.
While in Star Wars Outlaws (snow drop engine) with ray reconstruction dlss performance looks as good as native, besides some artifacts from movement.

I'm fine when a game doesn't have current gen modern high fidelity graphics as long as it runs like it looks, Wilds looks like a last gen game you would see on the PS4 so you would expect it to run similar as such but nope, there's no excuse that warrants and justifies as to why Wilds is so demanding.

Like I have a lot of forgiveness performance wise if you get a games like Alan Wake 2, or Hellblade2 those are truly game's pushing graphics to the next level so it makes since why they are so demanding but Wilds isn't pushing anything but the pore RE Engine into doing what it was never intended for.
