I like all the games so even world is a great game to me... i don't know where wilds falls yet but its looking like top 3

Despite beating high rank and early g rank and enjoying it at the time I can't go back to fu, or anything older than 4u and gen u, because I can have the complete old school experience with those 2 while still feeling a bit modern.

Base world > sunreak > iceborne > rise > 4u = gen u > 3u > rest.

Don't have an opinion on wilds yet until they release title updates.

Hard to judge Wilds since there's still a lot of content to come down the line I guess.
For me it's:
Rise > World > GU > 3U > Wilds > 4U > Tri
4U is great but man does it suck to play any action game on the 3DS's circle pad. Hopefully it gets remastered on a proper console in the future.

Rise sucks. Is a switch port. Wirebug turns everyone in insect glaive. Maps were horrible.

it has some of the worst build variety in the entire series, which removes most of the fun.

It has some of the worst endgame content in the entire series.

The claw wallbang mechanic adds more rigidity to the fights compared to basically every other game.

The game isn't bad, but I've played most of the games as they've come out and world was one of the weaker entries for actual gameplay and mechanics

For me I would say something like

MHGU > MH4U > Wilds > Rise > World > MH3U > everything else. I REALLY loved the underwater combat in MH3.

The lower MH games doesn't mean I don't like them, just as a disclaimer, I love all the MH games. Favorite franchise of all time.
