My honest opinion.

1: Performance/Graphics:
First off, all the performance complaints are crap. It's just not true. The game runs and looks great. I truly believe all those complaining have outdated pc's. My pc isnt even that high end and i run max settings at 100+ fps without frame gen.

Score: 10/10

2: Story:
Kinda meh tbh. It pales in comparison to world's story, but is better than rise. The characters are less interesting and I feel less invested in the world and what happens to it than i did in world. It's still better than rise's story so I cant give it a horrible score in relation to the series, but it's disappointing for sure.

Score: 5/10

3: Gameplay:
It's certainly a monster hunter game. All the weapons we love are there, with mechanics we're familiar with, no complaints there. With that being said, the monsters are just so boring. There's no elder dragons, there's nothing that actually inspires fear. I made it through the entire game without feinting a single time. There's no raids/sieges like kulve turoth or safi jiva/fatalis/alatreon etc, which were arguably the best part about MHW. It's just missing.

Overall Score: 7/10

In comparison to rise its better in every way, that game was a complete joke and should've been a mobile game, but compared to world it definitely falls short.

I have a 13600k and a 4080 and can't get more than 80 in most areas at 1440p. It's pretty obvious that you're in 1080 and have upscaling/frame gen maxed for performance.

They shouldn't let private accounts that don't own the game to comment. I think if the account owns the game, that makes it valid enough. Plus account-age restrict it.

Sadly, Steam moderation is atrocious and they are more likely to ban light comments pushing against ♥♥♥♥ threads like this than the OP. Even worse when they let obvious ban evasion alt accounts run free, invalidating the whole ban.

They shouldn't let private accounts that don't own the game to comment. I think if the account owns the game, that makes it valid enough. Plus account-age restrict it.

People buy games, play it for 2 hours, abuse the Steam forums, and then refund and review it. Trust me when I say nothing you do will fix the jester farming issue unless they remove the jester award entirely.

I have an actual mid tier PC, a 4070 super and a 5900x, 32 gigs of ram on a 1440p monitor, I stay around the 70s - capped at 90 which I hit in cut scenes mostly. No frame gen.

It's fine but the game looks last gen IMO and it looks bad at times.

OP is running this at 1080p or something.

Of course im running it at 1080p. There's no reason to run games at anything else. Our eyes see no difference between 1080p and 4k. But glad to know that someone with a mid tier pc is also getting great performance without frame gen. Shuts everyone else up a bit

You need glasses, or faster brain to make 4k look better than 1080p. You probably can't tell the difference between 60fps and 12fps when those brain receptors are so slow.
