Gemma's forging scene
Why is there a cinametic everytime you craft something it's so annoying, and can you turn it off?

I think you don't get the point
No, I do.
See, I just pressed “B” and got my item. Wasn’t so bad, was it?
you don't.
It's not that bad, doesn't take much effort but why is there the same scene everytime in the first place, it wasn't like this before it's just ANNOYING

It's sad that no matter what is crafted - weapon or armour, there's always the same animation. I call lazy development.

The time it took you to write that, you could have skipped 3 armor sets already

thanks for proving my point

It's so strange that people are so willing to just excuse things. Even the people that admit they skip it EVERY time are like "It's just a button press, dude". If people skip it every time there should be an option to just turn it off. So weird.

You have no point, you’re just complaining about pressing a skip button as if you’re crafting armor every second of the game

i was referring to the fact that you don't get the point, which clearly is still the case

Respectfully, I’m just trolling you. But I can I see your point in having an option to have it removed entirely, yes.
yeah i'm starting to farm every high rank armor piece and HOLY F*CK, pain in the ass dude.

Keep up the good fight bro. Just because it isn't the biggest problem, doesn't make it wrong to point it out when a game has unnecessary quality of life weirdness. That goes doubly when it is a downgrade from what has already been perfected.

Nobody should have questioned the one-tap-and-done set up to begin with.

It wouldn't tickle my pet peeve senses if it was an instantaneous double tap, but you need to wait for the first scene to fade to black before the second press registers. It feels obnoxious because you know that these distractions aren't here to allow pause for any mechanical functions.

While it might only add an extra two or three seconds to get rid of both scenes per craft, you can expect to be doing this a lot between what is likely hundreds of hours. And also while not a big deal on its own, if cumbersome instances similar to this are not kept in check across a whole game then things can become fatiguing.

Just press the confirmation again, it's been like this for ages. You'll get used-to it.
Considering there is a bunch of different scenes that can play out at the ends of hunts (yet I seem to keep getting the same ones and my friend different ones, it must be influenced by something), to only have the one for the forge is actually quite odd. Even World at least had a few variations (and a more memorable character, "What something making?").

What it "should" do, is only play the scene the scene once when you are crafting multiple items as that is when it is at its most annoying.
