the game was designed to be sold to a mass of "players" who need to consume 1 different game per day recommended by their favorite tutor and YouTuber while feeling incredibly talented but effortless.
the lifespan of 1000k on MH at the time when it was considered a niche game is over - here in 50 hours you will all be finished, including DLC.
it is now a hamburger to be eaten on site.
yes it's true, I really like this license - it's my favorite by far but I'm not a good player and I'm more of the resistant type than dps and yet even while remaining very defensive they fall far too quickly and I'm disappointed by that, the game remains excellent despite everything but I fear for the lifespan
First monster that moved quick and dodged was the end of being able to use spread ammo period if the monster wasnt stunned. Took me almost 20min to kill the sand worm thing cause it moved too fast to hit with spread without me getting hit too cause the recoil is so bad you cant move or guard fast enough after shooting.
Had to switch my gun setup for spread ammo to normal ammo to finish the thing off to keep from carting.
HBG is still good just not with spread. All recoil adjustment has been removed so were stuck with massive uncontrollable recoil. If you wanna use spread like a GS or hammer that might be doable but that mostly leaves Norm, Pierce and Ele ammo as the only viable option for ALL bowguns
The HBG feels infinitely better to use thanks to these changes. Weapons in general seem to feel less awkward to use.
There's no recoil down? That's annoying. Recoil seems pretty extreme on the tutorial HBG...
