80c is pretty hot but you can go higher without problem.
If you want to wait for a patch, you can wait forever because we are talking about capcom.

what kind of cooling solution are you running on this ? If you are running stock cooler, you might want to look into something like a peerless assassin.
Also, 80c shouldn't be a problem if it's only while you are playing

r u running stock intel cooler? if yes then thats the problem. not a problem per se cuz its still fine and it will thermal throttle to prevent dmg

If you are that worried you can turn off turbo mode on your CPU...and see how much performance you lose. I doubt it will be much if any at all since this game is literally wasting CPU power.
80c is not bad if you are gaming. Your PC will protect itself if it ever gets too hot.
Getting 80c just in the menu is pretty bad though.
Lower your fps limit.
If you would get better cooling, and if you were only thermal limited before and aren't power supply limited, then you won't get better temps, you will just get more fps with higher power consumption and still hitting the same temps.

Also around 65C your gpu will start to throttle down, and at 88C it will turn off.

You have to learn how to balance your hardware usage.
Do you want to hit thermal limits or do you want to constant solid long lived hardware usage.

My gaming experience with this game using my gaming laptop was about 88c -93c for CPU n GPU. :>

Say good bye to your laptop in a year, if you don't tone it down. You can't replace the gpu anyway.

Easiest way to adjust is find what your hardware can handle fps wise for a game, and then limit it below something where you're okay with the temps.

Cpu cooler is called AK620 it came with the pc. And it reaches 80c after a hour or 2 into gameplay not menu. I was just worried because this is the first time it is going this high.

Just limit your fps -.-

You don't have to kill your hardware.

You can even use framegen to get the same effect, try to get without framegen 60+ fps, like the low drops, and then enable framegen and limit in game to 60 or in control panel/nvidia app to 120.

It is capped at 60fps atm should i go lower i don't suffer any performance issue it's just the temp high.
Intel says 100°C is max Temp.
So, with 80°C everything is okay!
It is not a very good Temp, my i9-11900K goes only to 58°C, but 80°C is still 20% under the spezification from Intel:
https://www.intel.de/content/www/de/de/products/sku/230501/intel-core-i513400f-processor-20m-cache-up-to-4-60-ghz/specifications.html

Why it goes to 80°C is a other story.
The AK620 is not that bad... but the reasons for this are unlimited:
- Bad apliaction of the cooler
- Overclocking
- to much Voltage
- etc etc etc

I have a rtx 4070, I'm using framegen to get ~120 fps with max settings and high raytracing.
And then just limit it to 120.
You can also try 90, real fps will be 45, in Marvel's Spider-Man 2, 90fps limit was much smoother than 120 fps limit, as there will be less fps change.

I'm gonna instead try 90 fps limit.
