s9041-tad-w72t Comunication error
Not able to play online. Joining or creating sesions result in the error code s9041-tad-w72t.

Administrator mode, unticking IPv6, adding a firewall exception… none of it worked.

Has anyone found a solution?"

Mine even goes so far as disconnecting my internet when I get the error. I just want to be able to play with my friends. But MH: World had this same issue for a while. i hope a solution presents itself soon.
Didn't know about MH:World... we play that game a year after release and never had a problem. It's annoying... it's a long weekend here due to local holiday and expected to play with the same 3 friends I play World and Rise...

I'm having the same issue. It's literally taking me offline completely with random disconnects on/off. Once I close game everything goes back to normal. No idea if it's server issues or just a few of us. Doesn't seem to be talked about enough though so idk.

Yes. Use a VPN. There are some free options available. At least is the only thing that worked so far... Hope it helps.

how does a VPN solve the problem? Are they blocking people in north america or something?

No idea... I don't know what that code means, except that it's a connection issue. A VPN somehow worked...
I'm from Europe, though

If it's from the title screen, enter a private room, and once inside, look for the guild room. That worked for me—starting from the title screen kept giving me that error, but this way, I was able to join my friends.

Getting it now, can't even enter a private lobby. Sad.
