mysterious crashes
im on AMD architecture (6750XT gpu, 5900 cpu) running the game at high, frame gen and FSR3 on, the game looks asbolutely amazing, i rarely dip below 90 FPS, BUT:
im having a mysterious crash every few hours, 4 in 12 hours so far.
the game never shows signs of issues before crashing, and 2/3 crashes happened in the middle of a hunt.
I do not know how to find what is to blame, since one of the crashes happened randomly outside of combat, and the two others in completely different areas in completely different hunts with very different graphical effects going off at the moment of the crash.
I dont want to ''blanket'' lower every graphic setting, has anyone run into anything similar?

I have an RX 7800XT, and I was crashing a lot too. I bumped the max frequency of the card to 2200MHz (down from ~2560MHz) and set the max power draw to +10%. Don't use the high res texture pack. Doing that has fixed all crashes for me and I can even keep frame gen on.
I have the same card as you, and game is unplayable because of random crashes, especially in fire area where you fight squidward. Did you tune this using adrenaline?

I went 24 hours without crashing once. Now I'm crashing every 30-90 minutes. I've also seen artifacting on both the game and in discord. Looks like missingno. I'm on a 5080 but I doubt it makes a difference.

frame interpolation tech has like a 50/50 chance to crash your game when you start a hunt that takes you into the loading screen.

Yes, I used adrenaline. Just to give more context, if I don't tune the GPU like I said, even with +10% power limit the game crashes at the character select screen. Consistently.

Is it +10% or -10%? In adrenaline I can't go pass beyond 100%

Weird, it lets me go up to +15%. Either way, the important part is the max clock settings, I do the power tune as insurance.

my whole computer just freezes :-\ last time this happened was with Final Fantasy 16

Turns out I had to use an overclock feature that my graphics card from nvidia can use... apparently my voltage was all 0 like I said before so I bumped it up experimentally to 20%. This has significantly improved its time running the game and never has crashed since then.

I'm also experiencing multiple crashes, with an AMD 6800XT, and intel 5 11600K, after 10 min, 1 hour, .... this is the only game making me crash like this

I turned off FSR 3 frame gen. Seems better..but my frames :-\

Is anyone experiencing pc crashing as well? My game crashes every 1-3 hours but sometimes my entire pc will just crash when playing this game.

In my case, i can't even play the game... Random crashes every minute... I tried a lot of configurations, possible solutions... and nothing seems to work. Horrible game release and Capcom don't say anything about it...

I also had the game randomly crash on me, sometimes after a few minutes, other times a few hours.

My Specs:

9800X3D

48GB Gskill Trident @ 6000 XMP on.

7900XTX Nitro.

I had my GPU at the following settings:

Shader clock 3000

1100MV

Power Target +15%

Vram 2714 default timings.

So here is what I tried.

Turn on Compatibility Mode for Windows 8 (that caused texture flickering, so I turned that off again).

Set my power plan to high performance.

Run sfc /scannow and chkdisk (errors were found and corrected).

I ran the game with -dx11.

Finally, I changed my GPU settings in Adrenaline to

Shader clock 2680

1100MV

Power Target: -10%

Vram 2500 (Stock) default timings

Now, after all this, the game still crashed...

I then turned off MPO (Multiplane Overlay) and have been playing without issues for about 15 hours. I kept the default clocks on my GPU and only set the the voltage to 1100 instead of stock 1150.

My in-game settings are set to high with FSR quality and frame generation. I also have my FPS capped through Adrenaline to 117 with anti-lag on. My FPS sits at 117 with 80 to 90% utilization.

I don't know if turning off MPO was the solution, but it sure seems that way.( I checked with special K that it is actually off and it is). I also don`t have any overlays on of any kind such as discord, steam, riva tuner, game bar etc....

Nevermind it still crashes. Scratch all that :D
