!! Positive Update after crash fest!! CPU related Settings
Yesterday was a roller coaster for me.
Launch was amazing, spend 2 hours in game until the first innocent looking bug appeared.
-Floor texture dissapearing. With that, i mean transparant floor. ~looked cool tho~

I decided to finish my quest and restart the game.
That's where it went downhill.. very fast.
I had 1 hard crash (no error)
Followed by a one milisecond bluescreen of death I couldn't even read.
I verified files, changed some settings a little lower.

-Frame generation off, some other stuff off people advised.
-Not using the high res pack
-Drivers are updated

And we're running again.
Every so 8 min became a crash fest. I had to speedrun a monster within 7 min in the hope the game wouldn't close.
I've let every crash report send. I've looked up these crashes and found that by moving the Crashreport.exe and the Crashreport.DLL solved this issue for a temporary time.
Still running smooth, no performance issues at all. Textures look amazing, smooth FPS.

Until yesterday evening. ETA 12 hours ago. I could not start the game.. anymore. Play - Close instantly.
I let it rest, sleep and decided to roll back nvidia driver back to the one of November.
Games running for now.. I'll keep this post updated.

Oh for the specs. I've noticed many people with the 70 versions experience these crashes more often.

RTX 4070 Ti Super
AMD Ryzen 5 7600X 6-Core Processor

!!!!! Positive Edit: !!!!!!

This man, changed 2 things.
I've also looked into these and I've did what was said.
Currently I'm 20 min+ ingame and I have not crashed yet.
Usually it holds for 5 a 10 min.

Edit 2: I have been able to play more than 2 hours without issues.

i have rtx 4070 ti super as well but i have Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-14700KF 3.40 GHz. no crashes and only had one graphical glitch. wonder why some people are having issues.
I have random crash too. 4070TI

Little update
Sadly not possitive

I've done a clean install of my GPU, deinstalled with DDR etc.
The crashes sadly still occur

Like I said before, I have no performance issues whatoever, the game runs smooth.

We've altered some tweaks in the BIOS regarding memory leak and other RAM possibilities.
We came to a conclusion it really is just the game not optimized for lots of people. I've read most people who are running a 70 variants of Geforce.

Currently struggling with a floor that does not excist ingame.
I'm going to try deinstalling the game fully and reinstalling it.

I came here because of crashes. Not sure I ever had a crash in a monster hunter game. last crash happened just as I was about to complete the quest. I have a good computer with a 4090.

update:
Sadly de reinstalling did not work out.
At this point, no matter how good and beautiful the game runs for me the crashes repeat.
I'll just have to wait for a patch that could fix these.
Getting constant crashes on my 4070 ti super and r5 7600x too. Pretty ridiculous lol

No crashes:

13000k
4090 on driver 572.60
64GB RAM
Installed on SSD
Windows 11 Pro 23H2

Driver or windows versions different for any of you?

4090 and 4080 seem the most stable versions of Cards.
Same for any 90 and 80 in the 3k, 4k and 5k.

The rest is the same for me.

I've posted an update in the main threat.
There's something CPU related to these crashes.

I've not experienced crashes yet after adjusting these settings.

Check above to change cpu settings.
I have been happily playing for over 2 hours without crashes.
Wow, you want to gimp your CPU on Win11 to have no crash?!

Maybe... just maybe ... he just plays in medium and framegen off, makes it stable.
NV reflex is broken in this game, so maybe framegen.
... and medium just make the GPU also take 30% less ressources compared to high.
Thats it.

Just throwing out there that you propably need a pagefile if you have 32gb of ram. If you don't have one set up, do it.

no crashes at all since beta.

11400f
4070 on 572.60
32gb ram and nvme ssd (if it matter. game installed on another ssd separate from OS ssd)
windows 11 pro 24h2. updated until no update present on windows update (if it matter)
pc was upgraded from old win 10 without any "clean install" (if it matter)
*edit* DLSS swapped to 310.2.1 and framegen to 310.2 using DLSS Swapper.

done some mhwilds streaming and recording with it (can see at my youtube page @riesoma ). also without problem except a bit of performance dip whenever the story progress to new places, and after few minutes, no problem seen.

i've done no performance tweak whatsoever.

i was playing on 1080p, default high setting, using DLAA instead of DLSS, framegen on. got 100+ fps on average. which could mean i got 50ish real fps.

I run ultra ingame.

Crashes are not smooth at all. Crashes are the worst what can happen when playing a game.
