It is very easy, but that’s just one reason it’s the best selling game in the last 5 years :suzuko1:

Bro remember that you know how to play the game, you are veteran already, i see posts asking is it normal for fights to take 15min+, I just got to high rank and its significantly harder plus then you have friendzied and tempered monsters

Yeah its like the monsters don't even react to you. They just do their set pattern move set missing 90% of the time.

Same exact run away pattern, every monster is predictable it’s the same fight every time, monster run towards trap and repeat :sakurabeachmomokolaugh:

Now tell me something. How experienced were you in MH games when you were fighting that Barroth? And how much are you now?

Most people were introduced to the franchise in MH World and everything looked very hard because it was their first time playing it. Now a Barroth would be extremely easy to you, I believe.

So in fact you're not complaining about the game being easy. You just wanted to feel the same level of challenge you felt when you were bad at the game, but that would only be possible by making monsters extremely hard for new players.

This is a pathetic excuse. Its a fact that this game is indeed to easy, looks like trash and runs like trash.

Not necessary.
I played my first MH game on 3Ds it was Tri when it was released in 2011-2012.
Yet World felt more difficult then all 3Ds game i played.
I just think that World was more geared towards souls genre but Capcom didnt have guts to go fully souls-like.
The reason why i never finished World is because all bosses are just sponges and they all feel the same and not fun to play at all.

Player plays other MH.

Player expect higher difficulty w/o master rank

See the corrolation here?

I see it. If you're a world baby and claim 'barroth' was close to killing y ou then you're definiatly are doing something wrong cause the first wall in LR in Tobi in World.

Fire chicken even carted me in Wilds because I wasnt paying attention to how much fire dot actually does in this game :D
this excuse is dumb, it's been a while since I played world, but I just finished my Rise playthrough and HR in base Rise was challenging enough to be fun, against the stronger monsters it was possible to cart and they weren't even special monsters, just HR, and it took around 10 to 20 minutes to down them.
In Wilds Tempered/Frenzied monsters get killed in 5 minutes.

There is definetly a big big big nerf to monsters' hp and aggressiveness, and the weak spots are way too strong rn. Stop gaslighting

On 3Ds they never felt like sponges.
Fights were long sometimes but mostly because you run all over the place when you fight monsters.
Actual fight never last more then 4-5 minutes sometimes up to 10 on 3ds, you just run around maps additional 10-15 minutes.
Its like 3-4 hits, then you chase monster and repeat.
Every fight on 3ds was like that.

Did you even play village rise>?

Tempered monsters in world where killed w/i 5 mins too
"did you even play village Rise"? HR is after village bruh, and village quests are as easy as story in wilds, so that's ok, what I'm talking about is HR in Wilds, it's way too easy.
"tempered monster in 5 mins" is just cap. Show me your 1st try against tempered Val Hazaak in 5 mins.

I do think there's some bias felt between people recalling their experiences with the end of World (Iceborne, Master Rank, etc.) and comparing it to this early section of Wilds, but I also won't claim that I think Wilds *isn't* easier. I just think people might be exaggerating the difference.

I also didn't play Rise so take this with a heavy grain o' salt, but I've heard from my friends who did play it that there were very unfair combos the monsters would do? (I'm failing to recall the specifics but it might have had something to do with the always-available grapple-dodges, or something?)

I'd attribute some of the Easier feel to the weapons' new movesets making them feel a LOT more like you have options for dodging in a fight, and some of it to *just* how much extra momentum the meter- or state-based weapons get off of the wound system. Curious if they'll scale back the latter portion in some way. (The wound system in general just feels satisfying to me.)
Don't forget that the devs SPECIFICALLY said that this game was going to be "you start as an experienced hunter this time... Not a fledgling." I'm assuming they have some massive changes set up for later in when it gets to more veteran level.
