GPU power not used
Playing Wilds on a 5080 I noticed that it only runs at around 60% power draw compared to what it can. Utilization is still almost 100%. Anyone noticed the same?

Game very heavily dependent on CPU. So you may have a bottleneck here. This is a very well known feature of the game.

CPU is not nearly at full usage. I guess it could be limited on single threaded performance.
Is a cpu hungry boy lol
Is badly optimized period.

"heavily dependent on CPU" is just another way to say unoptimised garbage....

No, it means it has a lot of processes that are more reliant on cpu and not gpu lol

Other games have this to, games that utilize a lot of 3D rendering like MHwilds here, games that use a lot of physics calculations like helldivers 2 or EDF6 (and franchise) or space engineers.

These games have heavy CPU dependencies, so you will see higher cpu usage. You can also lower the load on a GPU if you have a CPU with a 3D rendering cache, in cards that end x3D for example in the ryzen sieres.

there is nothing going on the screen that justify it to be heavily CPU dependant, there arent countless moving units on screen or physics everywhere.... nothing we havent seen in games that looks and runs x10 better... its bs..... its just trash optimisation....

It shows how little you know about what's going on on screen and what that entails, cuz yes there is lol

The 3D rendering of grass is exactly 1 of them, ifs also why most games don't use eD rendering like that lol it's intense and most use layered 2D tricks for that reason.
They also use altough they toned it down since beta which helped a lot but the hair and fur generation which is quite intense on all PCs even high end, hence what fur donut test is still a thing even now.

I have an RTX 4080 Super and a 9800X3D, and i'm finding my wattage not going above 60% also. At 1440p with no DLSS or frame gen, with all settings to max, i'm getting around 45 - 70 fps. Is this as expected?
My CPU reaches only 25% utilisation and GPU about 50% and even then the game still drops to 15 FPS at times, it's super annoying.

Devs made your cpu only use 8/xx threads in the config.ini file. cause they are bad.

Among many other reasons it's not running right.

Same specs. 4K medium settings with DLSS, 4080 Super 95% usage, only draw around 240W power. In previous title World and Rise, 99% usage, draw 300W power. It is definitely something wrong here.

Same exact thing with my 7700 XT. It only draws 180W despite both Adrenalin, Afterburner and task manager showing near 100% GPU usage. Normal games draw 250W at 100% GPU usage.
This is normal, why does the GPU need use more power when it's utlized 98% from the image. Means your GPU is already using enough power and it's at 3.05GHZ. Thanks for low key showing off you pretty new GPU.
Also in your picture clearly shows your GPU is pulling 437 Watts (60% is incorrect)

That's NOT normal though. If you don't have v-sync or some sort of frame cap enabled, your GPU should use all available power unless its thermal throttling.
I have the same issue in the game. My 7700 XT only draws 180W at 100% while in other games like World, it draws 250W at 100% use.
