It's not really a monster issue, they've insanely overbuffed weapons, and veterans can just omega abuse it, especially through LR. You can probably do almost every LR monster in sub 1-2 mins with new greatsword tracking TCS and counter.
Gaming and entertainment in general is about instant gratification nowadays. Devs know what they’re doing and who they’re catering towards.
I’m not a hardcore fan, so I can’t relate. I know I wasn’t a fan of the past games because of how long everything took, but I liked Rise.
As a casual, I feel like this game is more for me (basically exactly what I just said about instant gratification, I admit that I’m also a part of that). Maybe if I finish this (and Rise eventually), I will work backwards and learn to enjoy the long hunts that the older fans seem to like. I’m glad that this seems to be faster paced though.
It already tripled Monster Hunter World numbers, so yeah it probably is true and it works.
