Game crashes every ~20min
So i had this issue since launch yesterday and i dont know what else i should do that i havent already tried:

Things i tried:
-Optional AMD GPU Driver
-Clean GPU Driver install
-Disabling every OC/UV and EXPO Profile for RAM
-Trying different compatibility modes for the game and Steam
-Tweaking with Graphic settings like FSR on/off, Frame Generation on/off, Texture quality etc.
-Verifying game files multiple times

CPU: 7800X3D
GPU: 7900XT
RAM: T-Force Delta DDR5 32GB 6000MHz

Nothing really worked, allthough i felt like the crashing happens not as often after disabling the EXPO Profile for my RAM, but that could also just be a coincidence.

Freaking fix this crap Capcom...i can't even progress in the game cause it keeps crashing non stop in fight ...that is not fun at all
And no, i don't have anything OCd nor do i have the high res pack - i turned every setting down to the lowest possible, turned off framegen and what not...first the crashes where like every 2 hours or so, now i can't even play 5 mins on a hunt before i crash...GG

Ok next crash, so weirdly enough this is kinda the same. Last visible frame frozes, now I can still hear sound without stutters or anything and I can't open Tast manager no Alt+F4 etc. But I can activate Caps lock in my keyboard. Probably have to to another force shutdown because I can't do anything (writing this on my phone)

Okay that was the information I wanted. It's a driver crash then, but not recovered. Driver unloaded and can't reload.

And it does that with and without timeout adjusted?

Also, Windows or Linux, driver version (?)

Before i did the timeout adjustment the Driver always managed to recover. so the game crashed but not the PC.

Now with the timeout adjustment it was like i mentioned in my previous comment.

Whats weird is that i deleted that timeout adjustment, but the crash now as same as it was when i had in enabled. (PC was restarted at least once after deleting the registry file of the timeout adjustment)

i have the latest Windows 11 and the optional AMD Driver 25.2.1

i should also mention that i also had those crashed with the latest official AMD Driver. I just installed the optional one because i had issues with flickering textures like many others too.

edit: now i had a crash that was not GPU related i guess. I got no driver timeout or anything, not even an error. it just crashed

Same pb here, I have an AMD RX 6800xt. Had no pb the 3 first hours and now I'm crashing every 40 minutes averagely. I'll try to deactivate the texture pack.

edit : I'm using windows 10, after updating it with KB5052077 version, it is now working well and I didn't had any crash for almost 6 hours of gaming after that
For a US$70 game +200 DLC's, 20 minutes of play is perfectly reasonable... To be expecting more is, frankly, being rather ungrateful... even racist. 😐
Somebody posted this in another thread earlier (but I can't seem to find it again :/ ):

Not sure if this helps anyone but I haven't crashed (yet) since correcting the spelling of MinimumStreamingTextureResolution_256)in the config.ini file. May be worth a shot.
Had almost 0 crashes until I got past Low Rank, in high rank, crashes consistently.
Also on AMD CPU/GPU
I've had the same problem since the sandstorm. The first 9 hours everything ran fine and now I have a crash every 15 minutes

Getting Jedi Suvivor Jedha vibes :steamhappy:

Nevermind, my pc crash after 5 min of gaming today. Look like totally randomised crash 🫡
5800XD - 7900XTX - 24.12.1 Driver - No HD texture Pack
And 10h gaming without a single crash

That's weird ... I hope it will get fixed for you
Ok well i kinda feel stupid now lol. I had REFramework installed because of the grey bar issue on 21:9 screens and it seems like this caused (at least most) of my crashes. i thought its something else because i also had crashed before installing it, but maybe some of the fixes i tried actually worked and now it was just caused my REFramework. i am currently only 45min in without REFramework but no crash so far. issue is that im gonna get burn in with those stupid grey bars on each side.. hope we get some type of workaround soon.

No mods or anything, 6750XT/7500F, the game locks up my PC constantly to the point where I need to unplug it.

I really hope all this stuff gets fixed, so people can just play the game instead of having to troubleshoot all the time.
Thx for your help earlier btw!

Before the game update there was a new REFramework version and after ~2 hours I had no crashes
