Bugged achievement: The Bigger They Are...

I've mounted the monster at least 3 times, but the achievement didn't unlock. I see many people unlocked it so I don't think it's broken and I'm doing something wrong. Any recommendations?

Just mounted the monster won't unlock the achievement, you also need to wound it and then stagger it while on its back.

Did you hit the wound with right bumper after stabbing

You gotta be gentle if you're gonna mount. Have a conversation with them and really listen to what they have to say. Ask them about their day. Take them out for a nice dinner. Light some candles and set the mood. Stop trying to rush right into it. Never works.

Thanks for the tips, will try. Tbh after I mounted it I just kept spamming buttons until I landed back on the ground🤭
