The only ban example, even if it's real, was a guy who managed to unlock DLC cosmetics so far.
But the gameplay mods? There were no bans over that for many years in Monster Hunter games.
I'm waiting.
Waiting.
It is funnier to see the world burn for some.
Go for it. Name ONE person. Because I know you cant.
Everyone knows the conundrum: you cannot trust cheaters as source, and Capcom will not admit.
Ergo, such >>confirmed<< bans cannot exist to begin with.
If the people rant for fun, that they got banned just because they used character edit voucers

well, still funny
But cosmetics which cannot be traced online, because unlike them character edit voucers etc they do not leave a tace? Unlikely.
So do not mix it up to begin.
I could not care less.
What I see are culprits, who tainted themselves. And now they are so afraid to be mistaken in their perception that they encourage others to do the same. The latter is a problem I having with.
Everyone can decide for their own whether to use mods, which mods, and so on to use.
I do not care and I will will never regarding my stance. Threadstarter got the answer already multiple times: you can get banned by legal basis with the terms and conditions, there are technical means to do so and so on. Whether it actually happens that is speculation and one should not count on it and go overboard.
Most mods are safe to use, but like with everything else I underline: do not use what you do not understamd
Simple as that.
I'm still waiting for 3 examples of bans for "using QoL and performance/graphics enhancing mods in World".
C'mon man, it should not be that hard, should it?
