Terrain, interactables, and many objects not loading
This may be an issue of me doing a lot of things just to be Wilds to even launch, but I was playing the game and everything from the opening cutscene to the character/palico creator went smoothly. Up until I reached the first playable segment, just shortly after getting on my Seikret. Where the rocks were that collapsed and we jumped over fell, after leaping off the rocks, I noticed my Seikret just... Running on thin air. This didn't strike me as being particularly awful, up until my first hunt against the Giant Frog monster. I found myself getting caught on invisible terrain and constantly seeing my scoutflies mark some sort of interactable that I couldn't see. And then, when getting brought to the spot with the three honey harvests, I found myself not being able to even see those! If it weren't for people standing by them and my scoutflies marking them, I'd have never been able to know they were there. And it only devolved further from there. I noticed climbable tendril walls didn't load besides their tops and bottoms, many terrain objects were also invisible as I got stuck on just about everything, and numerous interactables like slinger ammo and fire herbs were just invisible completely. Even tall grass was invisible, and I only knew this because of the movie tutorial during the Quematrice fight showing me what the terrain SHOULD look like, yet all I saw was flat sand everywhere. Heck, even the path out of town was just gone entirely, I constantly felt like I was in some kind of illegal out of bounds location.

TL;DR, much of the terrain and interactables are missing from my game and I need some help.

Some changes I presume are responsible for this, but were needed in order to run the game. CrashReporter and CrashReporter.dll were removed from the game files. Game is being run as administrator and has compatibility mode enabled to Windows 8 setting, and has -force-d3d11 for launch settings. (All other things were simply restarting steam and the computer, as well as uninstalling and reinstalling game.)

I had the same issue. To get it to run I did the following:
1. Open Nvidia settings and update the power mode to performance preferred (from the pinned troubleshooting guide)
2. Set to admin mode
3. Set to win 8 compat
4. Update graphics drivers
5. Restart my computer

The game ran, but I noticed the missing objects as well. It included rocks, some plants, and I'm sure other things I am not aware of. To fix this I did the following:

1. Remove admin mode
2. Remove win 8 compat
3. Restart computer

Now I can see everything (presumably)

I'm running a 3060ti and getting some performance drops, but overall I am getting around 45 - 60 fps consistently on high settings with low ray tracing and HDR. I might tweek the settings as I play if the frame drops become too frequent, but so far they only occur when I first load the game.

Hope this helps!
Ooh, it did! Thanks a ton my pal!
