2. Yes, but it is related to the first point. If you are ahead of them in the main quest then they can't join your main quests BUT they can join side quests
3. The easiest way is to make a Squad aka guild, add them to the Squad, join the Squad lobby, then make a Link party (max is 4), that way whatever quest anyone hosts they can just join off of that.
It's a very weird and roundabout way to get into a party to hunt stuff.
Edit: Also forgot to mention if you are ahead or they are ahead in the main quests they can join someone who is not caught up but if you guys are on the same Main quest mission then you'll have to solo it or use the SOS flare.
