Are you kidding me, Capcom? I can’t believe we’re back to this nonsense with Monster Hunter Wilds. Locking something as basic as tweaking your character’s look behind a paywall is straight-up predatory MTX garbage. This isn’t some fancy cosmetic armor set or an extra quest, it’s literally just adjusting a face I’m stuck staring at for hundreds of hours. And you’re telling me I’ve got to shell out real money for it after already dropping full price on the game? That’s egregious, even for a company that’s been testing the waters with microtransactions lately.

Look at a game like Elden Ring, FromSoftware doesn’t pull this crap. You can tweak your character’s appearance whenever you want, no credit card required, because it’s just a basic feature that respects the player. Same deal with plenty of other titles out there, Warframe doesn’t charge you to mess with your look, and even Cyberpunk 2077 patched it in for free after launch. But here we are with Wilds, getting nickel-and-dimed for something that should be standard. It’s insulting, and honestly, it makes me question how much more of this game is going to be carved up for extra cash grabs. Capcom, stop treating us like walking wallets and start treating us like hunters who deserve some damn respect.

You can only change your hair and cosmetics from the tent. To actually change your appearance, you need to pay. This is not acceptable.

You need to pay for any significant changes such as body alteration (Skin, face manipulation etc) and Voice (Changing the pitch is free but not the base voice).

you say its not acceptable but we the gamers are the ones who made it acceptable in the first place. it started in games long time ago and people back then bought them till it got to the point it has become a common thing. so every time you see a game offering appearance change for cash just remember gamers did that the ones of the past made it a common practice.
