This game tried to be bigger....and it looks bigger, and more monotone as a result
Most previous MH games have had the common sense to start in areas with greenery.
The Wilds team made the smoothbrain decision to start in the desert... and make it a really huge desert. A landscape where everything is roughly the same shade of brown and the air is constantly hazy.
You could be playing on a sci-fi computer from the 26th century and Wilds would still be brown.
I am sure your PC thanks you. Maybe your next one will be able to run it better and you'll get more from it
Another thing which I found WILD is the non-existence of a contrast/saturation display setting in this game!
Not really? I mean if you haven't played worlds, then play that till you run out of things to do.
