Sticky Aim / Aim Assist?

I'm playing light bow gun with mouse and keyboard as it feels really nice. and I've had a look through the settings but maybe I've missed something. when I mouse over an enemy the sensitivity of the cross hair slows down a lot and almost sticks to the monster. anyway to disable this?

There's a section in the Options that allows you to adjust the deadzones and such, there might be something there regarding the auto-aim/lower sensitivity when aiming at monsters.

EDIT: Found it. In Camera options, page 3 (3/4), there's the Aim Assist option you can disable.

Yeah the issue is I've disabled all aim assist options I can find and it's still there. feels quite odd on mouse and keyboard.
