Oilwell Basin textures
Anyone else getting low res textures all over the place in this area? Didn't have this issue in the first 2 areas at all but now a ton of the rocks and ground are blurry and some smoke stacks and pipe are low res.

I think it's just the way it is lol. It's pretty jarring to see how awful the textures are in that whole area. I thought I had downgraded to a PS2 game when I got to the forge.

Experiencing this as well. Only fix was restarting the game. It comes back sometimes, but a reset fixes it every time.
I had it first time I visited the area, but it's been okay every time since
Definitely having the same issue. Restarting the game in the area temporarily fixes it. I thought at first it might be how the area is supposed to look oily and slimy-ish but it didnt look right. A restart fixes it temporarily, but as soon as you leave the area and come back the textures fail to finish loading again.

I thought this too until i reloaded and saw all the textures loaded in, but upon leaving the area and coming back the same blurry/muddy textures reoccurred.

Yeah a restart fixed it

Hope it continues to work for you. Once I leave and come back after restarting the textures fail to load again. Been troubleshooting to find a more permanent solution but given everything going on I'm leaning towards poor optimization on capcom's end.
i have the same issue and i cant find a solution, only the temporary solution o restarting the game

There's something REALLY weird going on with the first time the game loads all the assets for Oilwell Basin. It eventually fixed itself, but my first trip there started with the game dropping to single digit frames as I approached it, eventually completely locking up (without crashing!) before letting me in, and then running extremely badly through a couple restarts and one reboot until it gave me a blue screen of death (remember those?). And then after that.... it was ok? Go figure.
Same for me. But after I restart, the textures will eventually start going low res if I stay long enough.

Yep I found a way to fix it though finally. Turn textures to medium and then if it persists start lowering raytracing. I didn't want to go below high on anything but it still looks alright and no more issues besides the occasional exploding polygon glitch
