Black screen on launch with AMD GPU
On attempting to launch the game on my desktop with AMD GPU, the game screen becomes dark grey, my cursor does not change, and then the game completely freezes.
I have tried:
1) waiting (to see whether shader update is going on behind it)
2) updating my graphics driver, including to the optional 25.2.1
(also, tried factory resetting the driver)
3) confirming the file integrity
4) running in administrator mode
5) running in compatibility windows 7 mode
6) adding to bitdefender exceptions
7) uninstalling then re-installing the whole game file
8) deleting crashreport.exe, crashreportdll.dll
Yet nothing has helped.

Additionally, each time this crash on launch occurs, on steam it appears that the game is still running, and attempting to stop it takes ~10 minutes for it to truly stop and the monster hunter wilds crash pop-up to be generated.

I have tried to see whether it was a problem with FSR and tried to see whether I could turn it off on the config file, but the config file is bare, only containing:

However, strangely enough, it works completely fine on a different laptop with NVIDIA 4060. While I know it's a better GPU, 6700XT is still ahead of the recommended graphics, so I'm confused as to why this works but the desktop doesn't.

I cannot help much, but I am having a similar issue on launching the game on Linux.
