MY GAME RUNS AT 45 FPS ON A 4090!!!!
Have you even tried updating your drivers? Cause the NVIDIA drivers which specifically mention MHWilds were released on the 27th. I have a 4070 Super and I have a steady 90 fps through the entire game experiencing no optimisation problems.

Also, if you're trying to run this on an older laptop you were already cooked, have fun cooking that well-done steak on your keyboard :3

I had the same issue with my 4090 not beeing used at 100%. Reinstalling the Nvidia driver seems to have partially resolve my problem. I still have some GPU utilization drops but it's less than before.

But there is indeed a problem. The GPU should be used at least at 90%+ everytime and shouldnt go lower

I'm on a 4090 and with basically everything cranked up (no RTX) I'll get 65-85 depending on the situation with a dip down to 45 at random moments in the more open spaces.

Steaming assets problem, that's just bad coding tbh
You have more frames than games. Grats... I think...?

So which is it, you said you have a 4090 or 4070 Super.

Drogash Feb 28 @ 4:47pm
ouch my 3090 runs this game max setting on super ultrawide with the Fix, 32.9 5120x1440 70fps

RTX 4070
And I'm enjoying my ~120fps (fps limit) (framegen on), with above ultra, raytracing high.
DLAA/Native.

I don't use 4k texture dlc.

I've got the game at mostly max, I'm seeing ~60-70 FPS everywhere on a 4070 Ti Super. In that water forest area my FPS goes down to ~50. Weirdly enough DLAA doesn't even impact performance that much but it gives a massive visual improvement over regular DLSS and especially TAA.

I also tried lowering each setting by themselves and nothing really improved my performance by more than ~5 FPS. No Framegen cause it sucks, and I used DLSS Swapper to get to DLSS 4.

RTX 4070
And I'm enjoying my ~142fps (refresh rate limited) (framegen on), with above ultra, raytracing high.

Also have an RTX 4070 albeit with a somewhat weaker CPU (Ryzen 5 5600x) and on high settings with quality upscaling AND frame generation I can barely hit 100+FPS. You're telling me you're running raytracing and ultra settings? If I turn on raytracing my FPS literally drops to sub-50 with frame generation turned on.

Tell me your secrets, wizard.

I have a 4090 and it run perfectly at 120 FPS. Without frame gen, i'm at 80-100 FPS (with the DLC texture and everything maxed). But I prefer playing with the frame gen

Here's a question... What is your CPU, OP? Because, your GPU means nothing if your CPU is not capable of holding it up. If you're bottlenecking your system because your CPU is outdated or damaged, your GPU has no bearing on the issues at hand.

I'm getting 140-50 on ultra/high with ray tracing 4070 super ( framegen / DLSS on though ) No texture pack.

While my 5 5600x definitely is bottlenecking my 4070 card by a good margin, there's still just the fact that I can run games like Kingdom Come 2 on high without even needing frame generation and smoothly getting 120+FPS. Meanwhile, this game (which looks five times worse than KCD2) continuously struggles to uphold over 100 frames and that's with generation turned on. Means I'm actually getting 50FPS or less most of the time, which is a bit crazy.

I know the requirements were high, but so were KCD2's, and that game ran incredible.

I believe it was already known Wilds severely underutilizes your GPU and hogs the CPU for some odd reason, but wow is it bad.
