(Xbox controller) No way to remap the attack buttons and functions? Hitting with B and Y? Dodging with A? WTF, where’s the option to change controls? Just like any normal game? Hitting with X, dodging and back on B, special and attack on Y, and other functions on A? 70 freaking dollars for a game that doesn’t let you set the buttons how you want? WTF

umm.... I can only assume you changed controls in a previous monster hunter or came from kb and m, cause they are pretty alright in this

This your first monster hunter? It's always had those controls outside of the first game. Just use Steam control options or some other program to change your inputs.

Seek a resolution instead of complaining. Absolute non issue.

I see this is your first Monster Hunter, because this is the mapping for all Monster Hunter games (or at least since World, as it was my first one on PC)
But bad news, the controller's mapping has never been remappable (but I agree it's a very annoying point of the series...)

absolutely nothing wrong with the controls, I think you can pick one of few layouts but I dont see a reason why... you only use X to equip/use items, you either dodge with A or attack with Y or B, you dont need to press them all at once... and for the YB moves, whats stopping you from pressing them both together with your thumb? everyone does that🤣 I played ChargeBlade in World and that weapon has like 5 YB moves, absolutely no issues using that

Yeah, it’s my first Monster Hunter, so what? Is that a problem or something? And yeah, I already changed the layouts and remapped it on Steam... but I had to do it through Steam, not the game itself. So now the game shows completely different actions from what I’m actually doing. That’s seriously annoying. A full-price AAA game without a basic option like this?

idk but ingame there is a lot of input types like 5 or so i dont remmeber if one of them might have the change yo want
