The textures of this game are HORRID
And the HD resolution textures make the game unplayable, constantly stutering loading them.

What a disaster this game is seriously.

Textures seem fine to me =o. I had highest on at one point, but high looks pretty good.

That looks so bad, is actually high? it looks so pixelated bad.

textures okay but aliasing and shadows horrible. and requires too much resources.
I wouldnt blame the dev, capcom prolly forced them to use RE engine and this is the best they could come up with lol

I mean everyone by now knows that RE Engine sucks when it comes to open worlds, just look at Dragon Dogma 2 ROFL

There is almost no difference in textures, they only improve the quality of some small objects. When they are turned on, some textures do not load or are broken (mostly in camps).

Just use regular textures on high settings until the patch comes out, you won't lose anything in terms of graphics. Considering that in statics the difference is almost invisible, in dynamics it won't be there at all

I saw all the different textures and for a tiny difference you get a MASSIVE destruction to your FPS.

What patch btw?

If you use FSR, it's still comfortable to play with high-resolution textures, but the problem with loading them sometimes appears in the locations themselves, so there's no point in them yet. As for the patch, I meant that you need to wait for it when Capcom fixes all the bugs and ideally improves performance in native resolution.

Getting 100+ FPS without frame gen at max everything.

It's the compression on the steam screenshot. Need to use a third party screen shot and upload via honestly anything but steam.

Why did yo expect you could run 4k textures (70GB just for that), assuming with your high resolution and low vram?

Your pc sucks and/or you don't know how to use pc.

I have 0 issues, using higher than ultra settings with raytracing high.
Get around 100-170 fps with framegen, just like in the benchmark.

You should uninstall the free high resolution texture, if it's enabled for in the library dlc.
Also get more vram, or lower resolution and/or texture quality.

As someone who share the same spec, i can vouch that 4070 run great with the game (Without 70GB HD texture of course). No crash, game run great and beautiful. All settings max with 1440/1080 resolution borderless windowed.

LOL… no he is right, the game looks really bad. Back in 2020 graphics had to be super sharp, crisp with no visible flicker or edges. Nowadays we have dlss and/or bad AA that makes the game look like super Mario 64.
Even skyrim can look better than that.

They should've added an option to turn on HD texture only for certain things that matters tbh.
Requiring 16GB of VRAM is insane and its stupid that you can't have it only for gears and characters.
