bro didnt even get out of the tutorial lol. the entire story itself is like 10 hours long. then everything is completely open basically. people have no patience anymore. Also, you can explore... vs doing story quests constantly which is apparently what you were doing. and later, if you would chill the f out...you can launch optional quests/expeditions/roam the world freely/hunt whatever you want when you want, hunts spawn randomly in zones and certain mobs will spawn during a certain in game time/weather event etc..
Edit: i hope they deny your refund. You are missing out due to your impatience. it really is a fun/good game.
