Seikret Green Feathers (bug?)
I was editing my Seikret's colors and all the options have a green tint (especially the Outer Feather Color)

I just assumed this was a design decision til a saw a screenshot of a friend's Seikret and it was perfectly black & red.

Does anyone else have a similar thing?

Figured it out! It uses the color from the Outer feathers, but doesnt fully get affected by the brightness settings. I was trying to make the feathers black and used green as its "base" color and just turned the brightness down and that caused the green feathers. I changed its base color to something else and turned the saturation down and its no longer glowing green
I'm having this too, and no matter what I change, this pesky green continues to manifest :( I've noticed that other color outer feathers seem to do pink or purple, etc., but I really want dark red outer feathers and I can't seem to achieve that without this annoying green

My seikret is also stuck with some purple feathers, I wanted blue/black/white. I think it's a bug because some of them look patchy, like only parts of the feathers are purple/pink. And it's vibrant, so not like a lingering color from one of the others I picked.
Mine can't get pure white, always staying slightly green-tinged, and I have no idea why. It's everywhere except the underbelly.

Ok glad it isn't just me. If Kimgy is right, it seems to be tied to brightness and saturation of the game.

That is exactly how mine is.

I was having a similar issue but a different color and after some fiddling and looks up I’ve discovered a few things which I sincerely hope are a bug

so, there’s patches of wrong color feathers everyone’s having issues with and knows about. It seems these patches adhere to the saturation slider, turning just pure white or black when set to 0, but completely ignore the brightness slider. Now the weirdest part is the color, seen a lot of people complaining of green but my issue is the patches where red for some reason, after fiddling with it, it seems that depending on the hue you set does change the patches but in a non-sensical way. Deep blue has them as red. Everywhere between blue through purple into the start of red, keeps them red so any kind of purple comes out more pinkish no matter how hard you try. Deep red seems to have them yellowish? The closer you get to orange-yellow the greener they get, staying green through t most of green before turning dark blue as you near green-blue-cyan territory with almost zero light blue in the transition before reddening when you get to darker blue, you can almost balance on okay purple in this area but it’s patchy and quickly you return to where you started with dark blue and angry red marbling the bird. I have messed with and turned off pattern color to no avail so I don’t think it’s that, skin color has no effect and the same goes for inner feather color. I hope it’s a bug or the add a selection specifically for these middle/fringe/patch feathers because the way they coronate to the outer feathers is absolutely infuriating and removes a lot of the control/detail in customization

if your getting bright Green feathers, there is definitely a bug
reset all the colours to default and try again.
I tried making a chocolate yellow theme; it was green no matter what I did until I did that.

That didn't do anything, it does seem like a bug or the creator has some novelties that need ironing out.
Lmao, does literally anything in this game work right?

Make your Seikret a little blue to make it whiter. Colors are weird.

Yeah, the colors are weird, which is why people made a mod to fix it. Most people who has a perfectly colored Seikret likely uses this mod since it fixes all those issues. https://www.nexusmods.com/monsterhunterwilds/mods/404
