Yea even my RX6800 & 5800x3d can't have a stable 60FPS on 1080p custom low medium settings with max textures with quality upscaling it still drops into the 50s a lot.

curious on this, can you share your settings on AMD Adrenaline?
I think that might be causing the issue specially you are on 1080p which just like me but I have a different hardware.

Try this:
Gaming Experience: Use Global Experience Custom
then the settings would be:
RSR Disabled
AMD Fluid Motion Frames 2.1 Enabled
Performance mode (Quality or whichever you want)
Radeon Anti Lag Enabled
Radeon Chill Disabled
RIS Disabled
RES Disabled

AA Use Application Settings
AA Method Multisampling
Morphological AA Disabled
Anisotrophic Filtering Disabled
Texture Filtering Quality Standard
SFO Disabled
Tesselation Mode AMD Optimized
OpenGL Triple Buffering Disabled

Then in game, just play around the settings and make sure Frame generation is on and you are using AMD FSR.

Everything is default but anti lag is on and 10% sharpening with a auto overclock.

i3 13100f + rtx 4060 + 32gb ram + DLSS3 = 90-120fps with DLSS Quality + Frame Gen. 1080p by the way.

52/60/75fps without Frame Gen but most of the time solid 60fps with RT Medium or High and everything on High / Ultra.

Using DLAA + Raytracing kill game performance to 30fps/40fps from 60fps+ even with Frame Gen.

Don't use HD Textures DLC for now until the game gets better updates.

So you should have good performance with a 4060 unless you crank it to the max XD

brother dont listen to none the comments, with 4060 and good amount of ram and good cpu youl cap out every quality setting ( Not the Texture Pack, u need 16GB of Vram ) .
Im using the same gpu and i found at that AMDFSR frame Gen is 100 times stable than DLSS frame gen in this game, so feel free to use that. i had nearly 6 hours of gameplay every setting capped out and had zero problem, Game looks great and sharp ( even have Ray tracing On ) . ( people are just mad cuz they dont want to/cant upgrade they're toaster pc so they cant play the game )

The RTX 4060 suffers from its 8GB and it's one of the worst XX60, being literally made fun of.

I hope OP and others learn their lesson, never buy cards with less vram than their previous gen, no matter the promise. The missing silicon cannot be patched in later.

The 4060 is marginally better but you could have gotten a better deal probably. The xx60 series cards are rhe low end and considered like entry lvl so they aren't great by any means but viable.

Depending on your cpu, yes you can run this game. My brother has a 2070 and a ryzen 5 2600 he has to play on low settings and gets a steady 45fps lol but his cpu ain't exactly a baller it's practically potato now. So he is happy it plays.

I'd expect medium settings you would get 45-55 fps give or take just spit balling. Try the benchmark, ignore the cutscene parts the fps you are concerned about is after the cutscene till the town. Those are your expected gameplay frames.

If you aren't happy with what you see then just wait for now would be my suggestion.

DO NOT USE HD! rofl the HD texture pack says it requires a minimum 16gpb vram and a 4070ti people should not be using it if they don't meet that 🤣 asking for issues.

im playing on a rtx 2070, with fsr and frame gen, with mid-high graphics and is running ok, the problem is just the fsr sometimes have artifacts but i can play the game perfectly so u can do it with a 4060

This, the 4060 and 3060 are more or less the same, but 12 gb is 12gb while 8gb is 8gb.

4060 here...works just fine for me...just...don't surpass the vram limit lol

I mean, I ran it with no issues on my 3060 Laptop with only 6 gigs of vram but everything was set to low and got a stable 60fps at 1080P. Now on my 4070 super it's at 90 fps high settings, no frame gen, no vsync, and there was a part where there was a black square that was like going crazy all over my screen but it went away after a minute.
