Xbox Controller Trigger buttons

Has anyone else ran into an issue with an Xbox controllers trigger buttons not working specifically on Monster Hunter Wilds? I have a 3rd party controller and it seems to have no problems on other games like helldivers 2 but on Wilds the trigger buttons dont seem to work or the game cant recognize im pressing them. I tried recalibrating the buttons on my controller and messing with the steam controller input but nothing seems to fix the issue...

nearly same, on my end "RT" ist inverted. so without pressing it i'm blocking with my weapon. cant change that in options. but only if i use my xbox one controller via wireless. if i connect it with cable it works fine as it should. strange..

edit: fixed the issue with updating the firmware of my controller and then reset to default in steam controller settings.
