KB + mouse or controller?

I really can't imagine playing a MH game with KB+M, but maybe I'm missing out on something? What you guys using?

I've not yet purchased MH:Wilds, but i've always played MH games with mouse and keyboard. I've never been much of a console gamer though, so I don't have a lot of skill or comfort with a controller.

it's a casual game for console players, a controller is recommended.

for these type of games i always use controller then i moved to using controllers with rear button paddles and i cant go back to base controllers again lol

mon hunt controls on keyboard are consistently horrible lol, from world to rise to wilds

i have controllers but i prefer kb+m for action games so its meeeeeeeeeeeh

After switching to KB&M for Bow and HB in Wold, I've never looked back. Focus mode in Wilds is also very good on mouse. Just needed to tweak a few of the bindings and settings. I still prefer it over controller with aim-assist.

Both work well and aiming is a key mechanic in this one so KB/M works quite well actually.

Never play a MH game with KBM unless you're a masochist

Controller is the way

Controller + Gyro is the way if you're a real gamer

Use KBM if you're using range weapon, controller if you're using melee.

kb+m is playable but awkward af (however it's much better than MHWorld) I've spent hours tuning it and it's still far from perfect i.e. I can randomly trigger Seikret mounting or potion drinking while trying to perform a special bow shot (on an excellent gaming keyboard)

kb+m is better than controller for everything other than racing or flying games. so I use a steering wheel and hotas for those.

At first I was using controller, but mk+b just grew on me. Took a some time to get used to on lance tho. Set your radial shortcuts properly and it will make life easier.

Keyboard+mouse is 100% better even though Capcom still can't get it quite right. Default keybinds still suck but it's fine once you screw around in the settings for a bit.
Very few games legitimately play better with a controller than kb+m.

But because I have damage to my peripheral nerves causing pains in my hands, I now have an Azeron Cryo and Cyborg, which I plan to try out at some point. The Azeron Cryo is a vertical mouse with 22 buttons and the Azeron Cyborg is my favourite gaming keypad, both have a thumbstick. It's still a mouse and keyboard but is also a bit like a m&k-controller hybrid.
