what does that have to do with mh wilds? we are now on 2025 not 2019, so you telling me that i cant tell capcom to stop selling microtransction just becuse they did it in the past? game developer should improve with time not do the same mistakes with every game
Seems like a good way for developers to communicate new technology to the players.
I would have appreciated it back in the day when graphics settings followed all kinds of archaic terminology that wasn't used anywhere but in the dev world.
These games have always had day 1 performance issues and day 1 microtransactions. The community tolerates them because they are cosmetic and the games see support for years after they've launched. I don't think it's a far stretch to say those microtransactions help pay for that upkeep.
It sucks that technology is advancing so fast these last few years. People shouldn't have to upgrade their card every 3 - 4 years, but that's kind of where we're at and devs absolutely have no input or control over things like DX12, UE5, and NVIDIA releasing increasingly resource intensive technology like it's going out of style.
I'm just hoping this is the last Monster Hunter that relies on MT Framework and Capcom update their engine. The franchise is going to suffer each iteration moving forward until they do, and the success of this game in particular is definitely giving them enough revenue to pay for something as insanely intensive as building an in house game engine.
this game uses the RE engine, only world used MT Framework.
That The sad thing, this will not change companies will continue to rush projects and add Microtransactions
I bet you think a hairstyle or edit voucher is P2W though, seems like the logic path you and others like you use. lmfao
i didnt say its P2W, read my post again. i just dont like it
enjoy to get treated like dairy cattle
Ah, that's good to hear. At least RE+X is on the horizon and focused on addressing scaling issues.
im not sure if MH Wilds uses re engine or RE+X, if its uses the old re engine then hopefully there next game will use the new one and it well be better.
