Does anyone else find the voices really quiet..?

I have the game's in-game voice audio up to max but it seems like they speak rather quietly unless they shout... is it just me having this problem or does anyone else have this issue? I know my sound is at a decent level because I can watch videos and play other games (ff7 remake, for example) and hear the characters nice and clear). I'm basically reliant on the subtitles a lot of the time to understand what the characters are even saying at the moment.

I'm having this issue as well. I'm on PS5. I turn the volume up but it just said something seems off about the the voices the character voices
