Playercount is a testament to the fact that gamers will simply buy anything
"Sounds like poor talk", "Runs fine on my hardware", etc. etc.

Let's get this out of the way for all you rage baiters and silly little internet tough guys. I'm not poor. I sub to Fortnite Crew, have Discord Nitro, and a FFXIV subscription that I haven't used in years, Patreon subscriptions etc. etc. you get the jist. I just simply don't believe in needing high end hardware to run a game at basic 1080p 60 FPS so I CHOOSE to have a modest rig instead of high end. Monster Hunter Wilds is a technical mess and performance is absolute atrocious for the visual fidelity. It DOES NOT look any better than a game we've had in the last decade and yet somehow, we are barely hitting 60 FPS w/o frame gen?? No. that's enough. I don't care if your game is "running fine for me". You simply CANNOT refute that this game should be in a better place in terms of optimization. The fact that they want to simulate an ENTIRE ecosystem that doesn't really matter because you only see what's on screen is just absurd. Capcom learned nothing from the RE Engine and DD2 and proceeded to move along and make MH Wilds. And you guys simply gave them money and didn't think nothing else of it because you got a big number in your bank account needing to go down.

Gamers are the problem with modern gaming.

Not just the companies and game studios. YOU.

You simply buy and don't think anything else of it until it's too late. Capcom has your money because you made an uniformed purchase and just wanted to play the game.

This and GTA 6 with it's rumored $100 price tag will simply prove that gamers don't actually think and can be taken full advantage of and basically be robbed blind. But you don't care. You'll consume the game for whatever amount of hours you deem adequate, uninstall, and move on to the next game.

or it shows that even though the game does have some problems, its not as wide spread as some want it to be, and make things sound worse then they really are.

Does the game have performance issues? yes
Does it have some release bugs? Yes

Its the game unplayable? no

Some people do need to in fact upgrade their PCs, but most of the time, its really just their CPU that needs the boost, or RAM might be poo.

Thankfully for Capcom (and others), there's no buisness on earth or history where customers are as subservient and willing to pay for the privilege of eating sh't then the gaming industry...

Nintendo games on the switch have very poor graphics compare to more modern titles. Yet they still sell well. Monster Hunter has never been about looks and appeal. No one is going to care about graphics when they're 100 hours into the game.

I bet you didn't have this same energy when Elden Ring and FromSoft did the same thing.

Expecting anyone to take you seriously after blatantly exposing yourself in the first five sentences as a fool.. is simply foolish.
buy and consume next product, do not question quality. be a mindless drone.

Runs buttery smooth on my 4090. People need to stop playing on toasters.

When I ran it on my 3060ti and started seeing some graphical issue during beta, I knew this game is bad news. Don't get me wrong, I a huge fan of monster hunter games I had world/iceborne achievement 100% love that game but this one I will wait

Yeah weird, you release a fun game and people buy it. What is gaming coming to?
Suggarnaut Feb 28 @ 9:54am
What are you talking?
There were 2 betas and people could test the game. Even in the betas the performance was ♥♥♥♥. But the people still enjoyed the game.

Everyone could watch the beta gameplays and make their opinions before release.
The game was the goat in the betas.
There were a benchmark demo. Everything told ya, you need a high end pc for ultra settings.
Lower your game settings when you try to play the game with a 400€-800€ card.
