DO NOT Install 572.60 NVIDIA drivers

DO NOT install latest NVIDIA drivers. Version 572.60

So many users (including me - 4070) had a black screen problem after installation of the drivers, and only way to fix it was to boot the Windows to safe mode and uninstall them.

And I know a lot of regular users would not know how to do it.

Maybe best wait for few days just to be sure even though it may work for some.

4080 super. no issues. reinstalled 572.60 multiple times due to testing different drivers to troubleshoot a crashing issue with the game. no black screen occurred.

I've encountered similar issues using bad or older HDMI and Display Port cables. They could handle 4k 120fps with some drivers, but not others. There can also be issues with the lengths of the cables or whether you pass them through things like switches. The screen can be totally black or flash black periodically. Even two cables with the same make and model can have issues between them.

4090 with ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDP will black screen when open mwh when use 572.60
i try use back 566.36 show normal but still got random black screen 2-3 sec then normal back

Blackscreen is generally a sign of drivers not removed and/or installed properly.

Download the drivers you need.

Get Display Driver Uninstaller, run it in Safe Mode and pick the option to Disable Windows updating drivers. (Windows 10/11. Hold Shift and Click Restart to enter into Troubleshooting mode, boot options, Safe Mode.)

Pick Nvidia/AMD(Whichever you're using) GPU and Remove and Restart.

Install new drivers fresh.

Yeah 572 ♥♥♥♥♥♥ me up, black screen after booting up and when enabling HDR. Rolled back to 566.36 and everything seems stable, the only bad thing is that MHWilds went from a stable 110fps everywhere to 85-95 fps.

You need to fix two things before telling others to fix anything.

1. Your intelligence, as it doesn't take a genius to understand that because one system doesn't present issues all system are going to be fine. Basic logic reasoning.

572.83 diver no issues 3080, earlier on .60 same. Maybe problem is connected with nvidia app- i never use it, only clear drivers installed trough DDU

it wasnt a 100% certain that it would black out, i had it happen only once in 2 week, i guess you were lucky, but it was definitly bc of the driver itself.
