textures and models not loading in
i see people talking about performance issue and mine runs fine and the frames and graphics are good except for the fact that like 70% of the models and textures don't load in. i think all character models are fine but buildings, parts of the ground, the sky, and the background don't load in and its EXTREMELY borked. idk how this is possible when the beta ran perfectly and had little to no issues for me. does anyone have or has had this issue and know how to fix it?

I made a similar thread about this. My game has the same issue, textures are just refusing to load in properly to the point its unplayable. I'm just waiting to see if they release a patch soon, if not im refunding.
Having the very same issue!
Came here for this. I have all settings maxed out but it looks like medium/low compared to the other games I'm playing.
I can only say this for NIVIDA, but go into the driver settings, and look for "cache size" or something like that, change it from default to 10GB+ see if that helps

gonna try what karmen gamer retro suggested I'm on a Nvidia GeForce rtx 3060 ti
been having textures not loading I get like solid void models sometimes on bootup...hell I had the screen go pure ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ white ala some of those weird ass glitches in fallout 76 back at launch. that make the screen just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ go dark but in that case went pure damn white..iv got the game in admin mode and also put on windows compact with windows 8 gonna hope this solves my issues folks! they will probs put out an emergency patch later this weekend. i hope
I haven't tried the game yet but I did run the benchmark first before buying. I first tried it on my ssd and I saw all those problems, including the weird random dreamcast graphics on characters and monsters. I uninstalled and rearranged my c drive, then put it on that which is a m.2. That fixed everything, including some random fmp drops.

Same thing here. Not to mention random stutter while at camp, something that hasn't happened in battle.
Same problem here,its extremly annoying.

What if I told you... that textures not loading in IS a performance issue. There are some serious problems with the way Capcom designed their data streaming. That's why there's frame drops on camera panning and textures not loading in properly.

A fast (or faster, like a M2 or at least a very fast SATA) SSD, 12GB vRAM GPU (it's not so much the amount of vRAM but any GPU with 12GB vRAM should be fast). If you don't have M2 connected SSDs, try having the game on it's own SSD (separate channel helps*)

But most of all, don't go into a lobby with other players - helps reduce the textures loaded with fewer players around ^_^... this is going to be more fun when ppl start sporting more varied gear

Hopefully Capcom will further optimize the game. Using a 4090, seems fine if I do High graphics in cutscenes else medium / low elsewhere (plays nice even with the high-res pack)

*two SATA BX500s (average speed) for OS / game is better than having the OS/game on a M2 MX500 (faster than the BX500). I only get the low-poly graphics on the first time loading in (or having new players come in) plus the BX500s were bigger and cheaper to boot
Was having the same issue, turns out it's because I was using the compatibility mode just to get passed compiling shaders. I turned it off afterward and all my textures/models are back to normal.

Where do you turn this off?
