Keyboard and mouse

Hi all,
As a pc-player I'm on the fence about buying the game. How does keyboard and mouse work in this game vs controllers? Is the keyboard and mouse option de-prioritized in any way?

I switched to controller because its awkward to do everything with a kb+M and they don't have it set up well. I'm sure you can change the controls to make it work though if you really don't want to use a controller.

this game has radial menus translating this into keyboard and mouse goes to i think the f1 etc keys it just feels so cluncky.

im using ps4 controller just fine. the game even has an option to display xbox or ps buttons in its interface so no more guessing as well haha.

My friends and i, around 6 of us are huge monster Hunter fans since world. Because we don't play on consoles or controllers. Between world and rise we have several thousand hours between us and have had no issues with KBM in wilds either.

You just need to spend some time configuring the keys to your liking, since the descriptions etc can be a bit convoluted. Once that's done though, you are set. I'd say give it a try.

as usual capcom are terrible at eve nthinking of anything other than controller. IF you dont want to play spastic mode (controller) then you have to ♥♥♥♥ around, a LOT. to figure out the ridiculous keys needed for various things. Ive considered making some macros to sort out all the ridiculous things capcom have done

I always use Keyboard and Mouse but I will tell you with Monster Hunter games the K&M controls are a bit like playing a piano. It's definitely harder but that doesn't really matter because this game is stupid easy. My HBG is like a god weapon off the bat.
