3060 Ti and the game runs fine at 1080p/60fps
not sure how many people here are wondering if the game will run properly with a 3060 Ti, but I just had a session for about 6 hours and only encountered two instances where it stuttered so far (both times were due to a weather change, once during a cutscene, then another time when it abruptly changed during a gameplay portion, but that's it)

currently running on DLSS Balanced

personally, I turned down shadow quality, but that was even still having like 3GB of VRAM to play with, so it's up to you if you wanna do that

I also disabled volumetric fog (I honestly do this for ALL games, much like motion blur, because it feels so unnecessary, lol)

texture quality and all that stuff was left at high though, so that's fine

unfortunately, the main hub does still suffer from lag, buuuuuuuuut...

the silver lining is that it's not as bad as it was in the beta, where it was running at like 21fps, lol

so yeah, if you wanna know if your 3060 Ti works with the game, go for it

I was genuinely surprised Capcom was telling the truth when they said the performance would be different compared to the beta, lol

I didn't have much hope and figured this would still be a complete mess

also, make sure to grab the latest NVIDIA driver as well (but be forewarned, I HAVE seen a handful of people talking on Reddit about their monitor just going black and never turning back on after installing the driver, and even bricking their GPU, so don't feel like you HAVE to do it, I only did it for DLSS stuff since the driver specifically states its for Wilds as well as Naraka or w/e that game is)

EDIT: sorry, should've mentioned this was at 1080p, not sure how it runs at 1440p

EDIT2: beta trolled me with FSR+FG, so I didn't even THINK to enable it in the full game

now that I have and I see the ghosting is no longer there, I think I'll just try this instead

I'll do a random hunt after I wake up later and see if the input delay is that bad, since that seems to be the main concern right now

I'm hovering around 60fps with DLSS, but with FSR+FG, even with AMD AA enabled, I'm closer to 90fps now, which I couldn't even reach with DLSS+balanced even on medium settings, lol

did you try with framegen? in beta I had some strange things happening . I will cap my fps to 60 anyway but want a smooth gameplay

try out FSR + FG. If you have no input lag you get 60+ at all times and smoother perceived gameplay

must be 1080p
That's good to know.

yeah, I should mention that in the OP since I keep forgetting some people wanna use this card for things beyond that, lol

EXACTLY my point, i play all these games at 60 FPS no drops, on my 2k Monitor, includng games where EVERYONE cries about performance like Starfield, Wu Long, Dragons Dogma 2 and now MH Wilds.

and all i got is my 3060TI how old are your PC's if you can't run modern games?

not to mention these games have DLSS, this alone even on balanced should make any game run at 60 FPS no problems.

FSR+FG was definitely a no go during the beta, lol. FG in general was just NOT feasible for gameplay. Any time you move the camera around, there's a weird ghosting/artifacting issue so you always see after images of your character.

Definitely can't play the game like that, lol.
Bruh, dlss balanced at 1080p on 3060ti and not even max settings to get 60 sounds really bad

You just don't notice bad FPS.
Because I am getting drops to 50's FPS on a 3080+5800X3D on 1440P.
With DLSS enabled.
So no change you are 60+ stable all the time.

Yeah, but it's not like the game actually looks BAD on Balanced or anything. Plus, if it actually plays well, I don't really see the issue here. I think I'd be more upset if I had to drop everything down to low and enable performance mode while still seeing sub 60fps, lol.

To be fair, that's 1440p. My fps tanks to like 40-45 on 1440p, so that's not exactly an enjoyable experience. Plus, that's not even playing on ultra, lol.

I think I'm fine at 1080p with medium settings on most things (like I said, aside from texture quality since I left that on high).

"currently running on DLSS Balanced"

so you are basically playing at less than 720p, not 1080p

>Twitch also shows that it's 1080p

yeah, I'm gonna just assume you don't know how resolution works...

it's not like I'm trying to upscale to 1080p from 480p or some crazy ****, lol

you're just trolling if you genuinely believe this game looks like anything you'd see running actually at below 720p
