Unable to use Blacksmith to Forge Armor - Bug?

Hi all,

Not sure if anyone else encountered this problem, but for some reason, I can only access the upgrade/forge weapon screen, and cannot forge any armor. The sub-menu states "cannot be used right now".

As such, I can only craft new armor through the "Recommended gear" screen.

Thing to note: Every time I navigate to the upgrade/forge weapon screen, the same tutorial of teaching me how to upgrade weapon comes up, but I cannot actually upgrade any weapon, only forge new ones.

Any solutions would be greatly appreciated!

Same issue. From what I gather the bug happens if you craft the Tier 2 Iron weapon before the smithy gives you the materials to craft it yourself. Only fix I'm seeing online is to make a new character. Quite bummed about that.

Oh definitely, same here. I was contemplating just progressing with recommended gear but I'm also worried a fix will never come out and my save will just forever be broken. Going to wait a couple more hours for a possible hotfix but I think it's just wishful thinking. This is Capcom after all.

Nope, i have the same problem and also send a ticket, tbh at this rate it will be just easier to start a new game... i also had around 7 hour when it happened.

I have the same issue, I can't Craft and only way to leave the dialog is walking away.

This, IDK if I keep playing it overwrites or fixes itself or just wait for teh hot fixes... or I'm stuck forever... Idk, pondering to create a new character.

Can't really tell since i wandered a lot and crafted a bunch of stuff (including second upgrade iron weapons) but it makes sence since i think it first happened around the pink monkey hunt and gemma gave me items to "upgrade my gear"

at first i just brushed the issue off but then i found out i won't go away...
