It's true. Wilds is abnormally easy

I was on the side of it just being low rank and people having tons of experience but it's definitely more than that. Every new fight so far - Quematrice, Lala Barina, Congalala are all going down in 5 minutes and I end the fight thinking "that was it?". I feel like I'm using high rank gear. Hopefully they fix this with balancing changes if the whole game feels like this.

I was feeling the same way I remember in mh worlds and rise hunts took sometimes 20 minutes but the first 2 in wilds took me nearly 7 minutes lol using the hunting horn I honestly think they spiked up the weapon damage but either way I love it still a fun game

I hate to break it to you, but MH as a whole has been easy since Freedom Unite.
Rise and World were CHILDS play. Wilds is the same as worlds atm. Once I finish it ill be able to CONFIRM its just as easy as worlds is.

You new groupies to the genre acting like "Difficulty" is an issue, but the game has been easy for like 2 decades.

The game scales dynamically based on your party size and low rank is always easy, this is such an empty claim every single time.

Play the game or refund it, I don't care if you think it's hard, nobody cares if you think it's hard.

played since psp. only reason freedom was hard was due to how bad the hit boxes were. an pretty much low rank is usually easy. off topic watching i can't remember if it was 2 or 3 tigrexes in freedom chomp around you is funny.

Yeah with the heavy bowgun you get a ton of mods at start that you had to earn in worlds and they don't take a mod slot. Wyvernheart does increased damage per shot automatically. Wyvernheart and spread opens up wounds like crazy on solo play. I took down Dashagura during the second optional quest and was able to get a 16 value armor before I even left the desert. Taking on two monsters at a time at the beginning of the game, one being one I am not even supposed to hunt yet, is just crazy. I like the improvements to HBG sort of but they need to dial back the wounds and things and maybe the raw damage numbers. I was doing hundreds of damage right of the bat. Also so far hunts are about 6-7 minutes for me solo. Not 15 or 20.

If you're using a ranged weapon you don't get to complain the game is easy imo :p

have you beat the game? good because all of them are low rank monster, also difficulty spike start at the water floppy beast monster and then continue to climb through the end.

I had a bit of trouble on the lava gorrila guy i forgot the name of. it might start to get the normal MH difficulty once we get to like 3 star hunts

I mostly use spread so it's not really ranged. Also HBG has a shield. Idk if you play HBG but it's a close range weapon for some people. It has a shield for a reason, which I might add comes automatically and also doesn't require a mod slot like it did in worlds. The HBG world to wild comparison is crazy.

That sums it up, you missed out on PS2 MH. None of you children know pain. Freedom Unite was stupid easy, and this game feels just as easy as Freedom Unite was.

no one gives a ♥♥♥♥ about ps2 monster hunter. Why do you guys keep bringing that up when it was arguably one of the worst entries? It's 20+ years old. If you never expected the series to evolve in some way thats your fault and if you never expected the series tp attract a new audience and grow you're an even bigger fool. For someone whos been playing the series for so long its wild you'll are still so stuck in the past.

Worlds was my first MH game and i struggled Hard cuz i was not used to the combat. Played rise on the Deck. If the games combat clicks the story gets easy af in all the new mh games. Its not like capcom cant ad stuff to make it harder for some players. Maybe just relax and enjoy

Stop using the Palico, they are so overtuned that using them means you are a lobotomy patient. Combat is more enjoyable without an overpowered bot carrying you, that cat can carry everyone through every hunt its insane.
