cant craft armor

when im at the smithy the craft armor is grayed out and i can only look at weapons. im in the third area and this is really annoying at this point. it also keeps giving me the weapon upgrade tutorial even tho ive crafted and upgraded everything i can?????

I think the weapon upgrade tutorial was upgrading your first expedition tree weapon to the 1 tier higher so try doing that? Make a new one if you have to.

For me it was upgrading Hope Hammer I to Hope Hammer II

sadly that didnt work, ive built and upgraded every hope weapon and bone weapon but i still cant make armor anymore. it allowed me earlier?? im 4 zones in and this is stupid annoying. armor tab just keeps saying you cant do this right now

im having the same issue i cannot craft armor or upgrade my weapons so i just stopped playing until there is a fix

Also same issue. Can't do anything except upgrade/craft weapon and recommended armor. It is grayed out. Also can't exit smith screen I have to walk away from it. Prevents me from getting any new palico gear (armor or weapons) at all. I also hear (from those with the bug later on) ir prevents them from using any armor spheres so... yeah.

it sucks. i beat all of low rank and cant even get any new armor. i dont want to restart a whole new save just for a bug... i guess im forced to wait for a fix which is really making me not even want to play the game anymore :/ and no i cant use recommended because the tab is no longer there

ya i ended up restarting after hitting HR 32. i still love the game but restarting and not upgrading or getting new gear till the tutorial made it so it didnt do it again

wow.. more Crapcom failure.. managed to play the game on PS1 graphics, and now working on my HR gear and was wondering why cant I craft Odogaron armor only to find out (here) that I cannot due to some bug.. yeah I think I'm done with this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game
