It seems to increase stutter and you get texture popups a bit more than with regular "high", so I'm still going back and forth seeing if its worth it (I have a 4080 so I can use it, but...)
back when World dropped, my 980ti could just manage it. then i managed to acquire a 2080ti that i'm on now and it ran it phenominally.
said 2080ti is old, gets hot, and is getting 40-50 fps on this with decent ish settings then throwing on DLSS ultra performance just to keep a playable FPS.
my plan is the same as last time, get the top of the line at some point.
though it might be harder than last time. also ♥♥♥♥ be melting and stuff.
Yeah, nevermind, that requirement is probably for 4K res. At 1440p / high it takes less than 7GB.
still, less free vram you ll have, more the stutter. and chance to CTD rises. it will work but it aint optimal.
Glad I nabbed a 7900xtx before the launch.
